Since Doctor Who star Elisabeth Sladen died at 63 a few hours ago, maybe we could hear
Sarah Jane by Jazz Gillum
. (You'll recall Sladen payed Sarah Jane for several series back in the day and went on to star in her own spin-off.)

Moving above request to A-Log's just-announced "Men" show, and substituting a song I recently dredged up from childhood memories:
Compatitude - Janet and Jay
www.themadmusicarchive.com/song_details.aspx?SongID=44785
This song would also fit the categories: Telephone, Radio, and Self-Referential Songs.

Here's the current idea list:
Hippies vs. Squares (3 segments each of 'pro-hippie' & 'anti-hippie' tunes)
The Future/Armageddon
Tribute Show #2 (3 artists - 2 segments each)
Ye Olde Daze (songs made before 1960 or songs about old times)
Hygiene Is Not A Dirty Word (bathtime tunes)
Colors (songs with colors in the title)
Nerdgasm (intelligent - but not necessarily nerdy - songs)
These next shows 2 go together & should be posted in consecutive weeks:
Hand Me The Shovel (political/controversial songs)
Ooh! A Kitty! (brainlessly happy and/or airheaded tunes) [
I'm leaning toward this one
- as my current blog title suggests]

Do you have a topic for 147 yet? Might as well get started early.

No, request away. I won't finish this show's playlist until the previous completed show (MMS-145) is made and posted.

or directly as zip at

In a couple of weeks, there will be an all request Mad Music Show, so I'll just put this here now to gather as many as possible.
In case you're wondering, MMS-145 (3/12) will be a rarities show that will play only songs the show hasn't played before, but that you may or may not have heard elsewhere on somebody else's show. KnowwhatImean nudge nudge, say no more.
