fiogf49gjkf0d Thanks for playing Atari, Captain! Moo-ha-ha, my plan to get every show on the archive to play that song is working, now I must use my Jedi powers to make Kahn Man comply and my work is done... oh man my soliloquy skills are terrible, wait or is it an aside? Oh never mind, thanks again!

fiogf49gjkf0d Hi Wayne,
Just wanted to say welcome back. I know its been awhile awhile since you have had time for a show and your shows have been missed. Glad to have you back.
~DJ Rockdoc
P.S. The 1980's were my decade, loved the 1980s. Been looking forward to this show for a quite a few weeks now. Great show also.

fiogf49gjkf0d 64k is fine for me too... saves you bandwidth
|
|
fiogf49gjkf0d I don't know, I really prefer 128--most of my stuff on my computer is in 320--I guess my connection doesn't have a problem handle bigger bandwidths--the sound quality difference to me is staggering from 64 to 128 to 320, especially on Rock and Dance or any song with a lot of base. . .
Perhaps having a low-bitrate option in addition to the normal bitrate.

fiogf49gjkf0d Great show. Nothing brings me back to 80's like the Existential Blues !

|
fiogf49gjkf0d '80s were my decade too. Listened almost a week late, but hey. Wish you'd be back on every week or at least every other week.

fiogf49gjkf0d Like a lot of us here, I listened most to Dr. Demento during my youth in the 80s and this show really brought me back. Thanks for making me feel good Captain. In fact, you should change your name to “Captain Feelgood” because that sounds really cool.

|
fiogf49gjkf0d The 1980's is when I discovered "The Doctor Demento" show, so this show is like a flashback. And I have been waiting to hear "The Moo Moo Song" again for a long time! Yayy!!!

fiogf49gjkf0d Listening to Chick Hearn on Wrap Around brings back too many memories to count. What a great song for Laker fans and basketball fans in general. Just wish they could have fit "The game's in the refrigerator, the door is closed, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard and the jello is jiggling!"
You can talk to most people in LA who grew up in the 80's and most will tell you they watched Laker games on TV with the volume down when it wasn't the local broadcast to listen to Chick on the radio :)
