Here it is - www.madmusic.com/playlist.aspx?Show=MMS-157

You know how this works by now. Each segment is posted one at a time over the course of the scheduled week of release. ...Show complete.

New podcast next week along with a surprise. Then the final 2 hour Halloween episode.

Time for an update.

I've got good news & bad news. The good news is that this show is on schedule for once and will be posted segment by segment beginning next week.

The bad news is that since this show will be backdated to October 21, 2012, the Consul wasn't screwing around in the previous post. Lots of old favorites will be repeated (more than I thought) in this year's final Halloween show (assuming I'm in any condition to make it) Filling holes in the main show list is no easy matter...

Since it's technically a 2012 show, no songs newer than 2012 will be heard and its focus will be to not copy songs from the previous show - in this case, MMS-156 [October 14, 2012] - for continuity's sake.

Bottom line: All your old favorites not played in show 156 will be heard in this "final 2012" show and some will be repeated in the "new" shows to come.

Consul Pious & the other vampires will host this show and I'll make the rest of them. Hope you enjoy it all.

There. That's a better title now, isn't it. If I have to host this thing, it should be on my terms.

It seems that 'Stavro's Bogus Journey' is complete for this week. He's rather worn out right now, but he finally has time to finish the playlist for this show. I'll do the rest.

From what I'm told, it's meant to be 2012's final Halloween show. Apparently, Stavro has a tradition of including all the holiday's classics in these shows, so if he manages to make all the planned shows, the final show of 2018 will have many repeated songs from this show.

Nothing can be done about that.

Anyway, you know the drill with these kinds of episodes by now - marvelous time! Vampires, blood, a fox, a severed head, and the CHEESE! ...To die for.

I'm sure Stavro can manage a least one decent show this year. And this may be it. As he said, it should appear around the 14th or thereabouts. What comes after that will be determined as the tides of fate decree...

Forgot about this part.

The 3 scheduled shows will be posted (if I can manage any at all) on or around the 3 Sundays before Halloween - beginning on the 14th.

(Scene 3 - Take 600)

Ok, I'm going to try to make this show for the umpteenth time since 2012...no, screw it. I've got a better idea. Consul Pious can host this one - he's the "ancient vampire" mentioned in the thread title. Said title likely won't be the actual show title.

The Consul hosted the final segment of the final Halloween show last year. I thought it came out rather well, so we're doing it again. This show will be backdated to Halloween 2012 and "2012" may even be mentioned in the recording for continuity's sake. MMS-157 was meant to be the second H'ween show of that year and that might come up in the show also.

This is the part where I emphasize that this is still an entirely new show despite the backdating to fill the gap in the MMS show list numbering. The real MMS-157 playlist was used for a show the following Halloween in 2013, so this will be a newly created show with a new playlist & script. The numbering will pick up with MMS-227 after all this.

If Dave wants to make a show or podcast after MMS-157, that would help. No pressure. I'm going to try to get in 3 two hour H'ween shows, but if I can't manage that, one of the shows will be an extra podcast for iTunes. iTunes podcasts go out to a potentially larger audience, so the opportunity shouldn't be missed to make one.

Naturally, there will be no requests for this backdated show...unless you were a member of the site before Halloween 2012.
