You can have or should be able to have  or set up a page for you as a solo artists, another Sedge could have on, and also have one for the Callaboration as "Drama Armada" that way all your solo and Sedge stuff isn't thrown on one page but individuals pages.

Thanks, Stavro. I was unsure, because of the "This song is not available for free download due to copyright or license restrictions" message that currently appears on the song pages. I wasn't sure if that meant that I couldn't upload/sell the songs, or whether that's just a general message that appears on the site when a song hasn't been made available.

I will hold off for the moment, until I can talk to my former bandmate and make sure we're both on the same page. But once I do, I'll let you know if we decide we'd like to put the songs up here. Thanks again.

And good luck with the 'little Russian bastard'.

Quite right. The "My Files' section isn't connected to anything else...

The main reason some of the site functions are problematic is that the site was set up to do one thing...12 years ago. That thing has evolved into something totally other and when this happened, the owner no longer had the time that he did in 2005 to bring down the site for Cthulhu knows how long & replace the whole thing. I'm no programmer, so I couldn't help. Things were reworked instead of replaced, so things are a bit disjointed. ...Ok, they're very disjointed. They still work, though.

Just say the word & I can arrange for you to take control of your artist page & songs/albums. Parodies are fine (just ask "Weird Al"), but adding non-comedy/novelty music is verboten.

You can add your songs & albums to the store & set your own price for them, though recently, there's been an issue with that - possibly due to last year's site update. Not sure yet. We'll work it out.

If you've more questions, I'll answer them - or Dave will, depending who's awake/online at the time. Some little Russian bastard with even more free time than us retired people has been trying to hack my email to steal my game accounts. Dealing with that draws my attention away from the site, so it may take slightly longer than usual to fix these things.

Thanks Dave.

I have to admit, I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out how things work here.

Like-- and I don't know if I'm actually going to do this, but I'm thinking about it-- if I wanted to get my band's songs uploaded to the site (instead of just the 45-second samples up now), how would I go about doing that? I see that there's a 'My Files' thing on the user pages, but my account is separate from the page for my band (which was added by someone else before I ever joined here). Is there a way that I can 'take ownership', so to speak, of the band page so that I can upload songs to it? Does the fact that the songs are parodies affect whether I can upload them here at all, or offer them for sale?

I hate to ask all this here, but honestly, I've spent a good deal of time looking around the site for answers to these questions, and if they're here, it is in no way obvious.

That is the beauty of having all the different "Forums". If you see something that needs fixing just post a message about it and someone who can help fix it will.

Welcome to the site.

Fixed.

And we have quite a large number of songs with featured artists, so it's ok.

Thank you, Stavro. The changes I'm looking to have made are:

Currently listed as "Nobody Watching Me (on Furaffinity)"-- it should be "Nobody's", not "Nobody", and " (on Furaffinity)" is NOT an intended part of the song title. The correct song title in its entirety is "Nobody's Watching Me".

Currently listed as "Song Of Fur Fright". It should be "The Song Of FurFright"-- FurFright is one word, not two, with both F's capitalized (it was the name of a convention).

Currently listed as "A Fursuit I Used to Own". It should be "A Fursuit That I Used To Own (ft. Asia Neko)" (additions in bold). If it isn't acceptable site practice to include guest artists in the song title, it can just be "A Fursuit That I Used To Own", but "A Fursuit That I Used To Own (ft. Asia Neko)" would be preferable, in order to give the collaborator their due credit.

Thank you again!

I'm editor. Tell me what the problems are and I'll fix them.

Hey. My name's Kiffa, and I was in a furry parody duo called Drama Armada (until we disbanded last year). I recently joined the site because I discovered entries here for several of our songs. Unfortunately, 3 of the song titles, as they appear here, have errors in spelling/wording etc. I would like to fix these, but I can't see any way to edit a song title on its entry page. All other kinds of information can be added or changed, but with the song title, it seems like you're S.O.L., stuck with however it was originally entered whether it was correct or not.

I have tried to contact the site owner through e-mail, but two e-mails over a span of two months have gone unanswered.

Is there a way to get these song titles corrected? Can it only be done by the site owner, or only by the person who made the initial song entry, or not at all? Any help would be appreciated. The automated e-mail that I received when I signed up asserted that "this is your site too!", but frankly, the silence with which my requests for help have been met thus far does not really reflect that statement.

Thanks.

-Kiffa
