	fiogf49gjkf0d Ok, there are always a few who don't receive the message, so the direct approach becomes necessary. The song page's Mad Music Show one-touch request vote button is selectively broken - it's broken for those who joined the site with Facebook. The explanation for that is below. For everyone else, it works just fine. Now there are 2 really determined guys who want to hear "Ding, Fries Are Done" and "The Further Adventures of Nick Danger" and request them a LOT. But they joined with Facebook, so I can't play either because I get a "--" for a name and address - because the function is broken...which means I can't credit either of them on the show. Maybe they don't care if their names are read on the show or not. I can't assume either way. That Nick Danger bit was played last on show 142 - www.madmusic.com/playlist.aspx?Show=MMS-142

	fiogf49gjkf0d No, that post wasn't directed at you, it was directed at those who weren't updating their pages - mainly because more requests with no names are arriving. There are requests I want to play that I can't. Not with a name, anyway. I get votes directly through e-mails and they don't appear with names or hometowns for some reason. At least the ones who joined through Facebook don't. The rest are just fine. A page for one touch requests exists, but it's "frozen". It doesn't get updated. Ever. I go by the requests on the forums and the ones that come out ok that I get in the mail. Now that the show's getting made again, quite a few are coming in now. Actually Wayne gave me a viable reason why you could see them. Something involving voting pages...um, we both have voting pages. Mine is just screwed. It needs a kickstart or something to get it working again. Maybe there are so many songs with one vote that go back 7 years that it just needs a mass clearing out. I can't possibly play hundreds/thousands of those single requests from the site's beginning.

	fiogf49gjkf0d I never said I didn't believe you... I'm just curious as to why I can see their names (and usually voting locations based on IP address) on the voting pages, but you can't on requests. O.o Sounds more like a MM.com coding error regarding requests.

	fiogf49gjkf0d No, really. I'm not screwing with you. I'm getting requests I can't play because people joined with Facebook and I don't get their names or addresses in the automatic request mail I receive with the one touch requests. Wayne either has to fix this in the coding somehow or the Facebook people need to take 45 seconds to go to the "My Account" page and add their name & hometown (and nothing else) to their account page. No data mining, no spy bullsh*t. It's just to read your name and hometown on the show when a request is played. Ex: Someone keeps requesting a Firesign Theater bit over and over, but I can't play it because he's a Facebook joiner who didn't add his name or hometown to his account page. I know because I'm getting "--" for a name as described below. If he did, I could play it.

	fiogf49gjkf0d All of us who make shows for the site want you to request songs for them. Having said (typed) that, I need to reiterate that if you want us to play your request, IF YOU JOINED THE SITE USING FACEBOOK, you need to go to "My Account" (the link at page top next to 'login with Facebook') and add your full name. We don't need your full address - that's only on the page because The Mad Music Show gave out prizes years ago and a full address was needed so they could be mailed. If you make a request to my show using the request buttons on any song page (highly recommended - I get your request immediately) and you joined with Facebook and didn't add your basic info to the "My Account" page, this is the mail I get: "Please play [song] by [artist] From: -- " And that's it. Two dashes identify you. Maybe DJ Particle is luckier and gets the whole thing, but I get that and must ignore it since there's no requester I can mention on the show. All we need is a name, a hometown and a state/province/country on the "My Account" page so we can mention you on our shows.
