You know how people can forget about a birthday? I just did and its for my comedy show Ben's Wacky Radio. This week marks the 8th anniversary of Ben's Wacky Radio since 8 years ago this week I did my very first Ben's Wacky Radio back on January of 2004 at WQNA where I was a student DJ and had a nine week training and only broadcasted for a half hour. Last year, which was my last year at WQNA, I did a 7th anniversary show but this year I had other ideas since back at WQNA during my last year I was running out of ideas for a topic. I'll show you the songs I played on my very first show.

Amish Paradise - "Weird Al" Yankovic
Der Fuehrer's Face - Spike Jones & His City Slickers
Rubber Biscuit - The Blues Brothers
Fish Heads - Barnes & Barnes
King Tut - Steve Martin & The Toot Uncommons
Gimme Dat Ding - The Pipkins
She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby
Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me) - Reunion

If all goes well in the next two years my show will turn 10 years old. So there you have it, Ben's Wacky Radio turning 8 years old this week.

And I think I'll give you guys a little bit of a sneak peek at what is coming up on the first two shows for February. First off the first show for February is dedicated to the Grammys where I play a collection of Grammy award winning comedy songs and stand-up. I should mention that there will be no request forum for the Grammys show since I already went ahead and found some Grammy songs that'll fill up an hour. Also I decided that our upcoming Valentine's Day show will be for a full two-hours so it's 2 hours of the silliest love songs on the face of the earth, and I call them silly love songs, and I'll still have the two new songs for the FuMP for that show. So next week I'll probably post an early request forum for the Valentine's Day show just to get a head start. That's my update and I'll see you guys later.
