Dave's Fun Stuff Radio Update December 12, 2011

---------------

Special Holiday Editions of "ISGD" and the "FT20" Playlist Completed

We tabulated all of the votes and we'll count down your top 25 classic funny holiday song
requests for 2011 on next weekend's special edition of the "Funny Top 20" show.
The top 20 will be archived on the MMA a week after it airs on DFSR2
www.live365.com/stations/classicweird

The rest of the top 25 will be streaming only. After the FT20 show, there will be some
late additions to our funny holiday song collection played, followed by songs 26-40 in order.

Details coming next week.

---------------

Dave's Fun Christmas Channel

We launched the all funny song holiday channel featuring novelty classics and more.
Listen all you want through December 26. We're also taking requests for songs we're not
playing, and you can also vote thumbs up and down on the songs so we'll know which
songs to keep or drop.

Welcome to 2012.

Starting today, requests for the Funny Top 20 show will count towards the first
survey of 2012 dated January 7, 2012. Deadline is December 31, 2011.
The regular edition of the FT20 will be taking a holiday break so you have 21 days
to send in your requests instead of the usual 7.

Dec 22-Jan 1: taking a holiday break. You should too.

The Top 100 of 2011 Status

The list of the top 100 funny songs of 2011 is being complied and will be presented
on one of the DFSR channels after Christmas Day. Watch for details coming soon.
Thank you for all of the votes for funny songs for the year of 2011. The FT20 is
a smash and we're having fun playing what the listeners want to hear.

--------------

Independent Funny Awards

awards.davesfunstuff.com/

Still taking nominations for the years 2007-2011. The year 2010 won't be complete
until we get to hear all of the new songs that came out that year, and we're way behind
for 2011. 2009 is a likely first year that we'll be doing, but since we have higher
priorities, it will have to wait a while.

---------------

DFSR Fundraising Drive

Please help DFSR grow and add more channels for demented listening.
We'll use the funds to pay for streaming, getting bigger packages so that more
people can listen for free, buying more albums, adding more space to store more
songs for fewer repeats, and website domain and hosting.
