Part 3 has now been recorded and I wish to thanks you guys for taking the time to make your requests for the 3-part Christmas shows.
There will also be no request forum for Tuesday December 27th as that'll be the Wacky 30 countdown where we countdown 30 of the wackiest songs of 2011.
Thanks for everything, have a safe and happy holidays, and always remember this... don't break that funny bone of yours.

"Wacky" Ben Pulliam.

Part 2 is ready for Tuesday. That means part 3, which is also our last Christmas show for the year, is coming up next week so be sure to make your requests for the grand finale.

Also in part 3 we're celebrating the arrival of Hanukkah so be sure to request your favorite Hanukkah (or Chanukah) songs as well.

But.... "...they make great Christmas presents.
And what better way to say "I love you." than with the gift of a spatula?"

Part 1 has been recorded. You can still make your requests for part 2. And if there was a song I missed for part 1 then it'll be included in part 2.

2 songs come to mind. 'Twangles, the Christmas Squid' by Jason Morris - that was a part of the 'Masters of Song Fu' competition -

www.asitecalledfred.com/podpress_trac/web/8257/2/jason_morris-twangles_the_xmas_squid.mp3

and Pop Machine's 'Funky Xmas Party with the undead' - one of the few songs I can remember celebrating Halloween and Christmas together.

Another Pop Machine favorite is ' The Ballad of Big Red - Their C.W. McCall tribute to Santa. Well worth the listen.

Now I'm looking for some parody commercials that relate to Christmas. So far I have two from the American Comedy Network and one from A Cast Of Thousands. Any suggestions?

You can never go wrong with Vince Guaraldi. Bit predictable, though.

"Charlie Brown is a blockhead, but he did get a nice tree."

And does anyone have any recommendations on instrumental Christmas music I can use as background music?

Mannheim Steamroller or Trans-Siberian Orchestra should work pretty well.

Keep those requests coming. By any chance does anyone have Weird Al's Holiday Greeting #2 on mp3? And does anyone have any recommendations on instrumental Christmas music I can use as background music?

I would also like to mention that on the 20th of December that will not only be part 3 of the Christmas show but also our Hanukkah show as well. I'm wondering if anyone has the mp3 for The Bob's song Chanukah (Eight Days A Week) since the actual mp3 on this site is unavailable. If so please send it to benswackyradio@gmail.com. I would really appreciate it since its a good song.
