fiogf49gjkf0d Lots of projects I'm doing now that I'm not working as much in the brick and mortar stores since none of my employers want to give their workers more than 25 hours a week in order for them to avoid their possibility of me being totally unemployed to make a long story short.
What I've been doing since then is to update my massive Datebook database I've had since the Atari 800XL days where I first created it for (over several floppy discs) in 1985. It's grown since to over 62,000 celebrity birthdays (all done by just me). That has been one of the things I found fun to do since 1981 when I discovered what celebrities were born on my birthday and I decided to use an almanac to compile them for each date by hand with pen and paper. Nowadays the whole project can be seen on my new www.megabirthdays.com website which is basically an overlay over a subdomain on my www.davesfunstuff.com website but it works. I'm fervently correcting, adding and modifying some celebrity entries and found hundreds of them in need of updates so this has been some labor of love. The Amazon links help make it possible to keep the website up and by clicking on the banners and purchasing through them, the fees help to pay for my personal expenses of maintaining it. Donations are also accepted through the links on each of the Date pages
I also produce a show called "I Still Get Demented" on www.madmusic.com/isgd.aspx which is a show I like to keep producing and hosting, but my Megabirthdays project has seriously eaten up the time I used to have for finding funny songs on the Internet and nowadays I depend on lazy downloads from existing sites for new material (no more youtube stream captures, sorry) as that's all the time I have. I also produce a monthly podcast called Dave's Fun Show which is just once a month, which is all I can afford. Their premium service costs $40 a month and my lack of hours working isn't going to help pay to allow more shows to be produced. I'd like to expand it with adding podsafe songs by other artists but for now I'm using it to raise funds to sell my downloads at www.davidtanny.bandcamp.com until I earn enough to afford to pay for their premium services.
