Greetings Dementians and Dementites!
Welcome to the spinoff of the Dr. D report called D.T.'s Demented
Datebook.
"D.T.'s Demented Datebook" is a weekly feature on the r.m.d. usenet group
designed solely for entertainment purposes while providing you with some fun
and interesting facts about well-known celebrities that made demented
records, are the subject of some, or in any way related to somebody or
something demented or nostalgic (as in comedy, music, literature, historical
notes, etc.). I hope that you enjoy it :-D!
Eack week's edition of the Demented Datebook gives you an installment of
the dementia celebrity star birthday list designed solely as an ice breaker
for you fans of such celebrities to start "memory lane" discussions about
your favorite demented songs from or about them, either in replies to this
message or in message threads of your very own :)!
Each week lists the seven-day period beginning with the following Monday
that this is posted (usually Thursday) and runs through the second Sunday.
If I forget to list some demented celebrities or miss some other info, by
all means, please, reply here and share some fun with us :)!

This reminds me of a funny (and very true) story. When I was a youngster of 7
or 8 years I saw on the news that they had discovered rings around URANUS.
Being of a pseudo excitable nature I had to tell SOMEONE, ANYONE about this
most important discovery. My (somewhat uppety) grandmother came through the
door about five minutes later and was the unfortunate victim of my discovery -
'Grandma, did you know that they found rings around URANUS?' At the time I
didn't know why it was that she was so stunned. I only figured this out a
few years later.
Yes this is a true story, hard to believe but true.
