First and foremost, Insane Ian is playing two gigs in the MD area very soon! On April 28th, he's booked at Eastern Shore Fan Con ( www.easternshorfancon.com ) in Princess Ann, MD, and is performing with My Parents Favorite Music at a concert event at the end of the con! Looks to be a fun event, and if you don't want to attend the full con, they're selling separate tickets if you want to go to just the concert. Hit up the website for more info.
Then, just one week later, II will be performing on Free Comic Book Day at Collector's Corner in Parkville, MD! ( www.collectorscornermd.com ). This is one of the best comic shops in MD, they always have a HUGE FREE event on Free Comic Day with creators, artists, cosplayers and more, and Ian will be performing at the afterparty that night, starting at 7pm. If you're in the area, be sure to come on down and check it out!

There has been a whole bunch of new music coming from Insane Ian lately, and we want to make sure you're getting it! Firstly, Scooter Picnic finished their February Album Writing Month challenge and completed their 14 1/2 songs in the 29 days of Feb! You can check out their most recent FuMP of one of their FAWM tracks, "Kyle, Are You Ian?" on the FuMP right now!

Also, Insane Ian's next song from the upcoming "Songs For Superheroes" was released a few weeks ago on the FuMP,and is still available for free download. Go check out "Ant-Man"!

Finally, as part of the Kickstarter pledges, II has finished one of the three commissioned covers! "Sythnesizer", originally by Electric Six has been recorded for a fan named Huey, and is available at www.InsaneIan.com in the UNDERCOVER section! More to come!

The music portion of GTA is finished, and the videos are slowly coming together, with the hopes that this thing may FINALLY see the light of day in the next few months! If you pre-ordered or got a higher dollar pledge reward from Kickstarter, your digital version of the CD will be arriving soon. If not, you can still pre-order it, and it will also be available as digital audio only on Bandcamp in the next few days. We'll send out another update once it's up.

Last month, Insane Ian's OK GO style parody hit #10 on Dr Demento's Top Ten! Thanks to all who requested it, let's see if we can keep it going higher for March, and maybe get it into the Funny 25 for the end of the year! Head over to www.drdemento.com/request and request the song! Make sure you fill out your name and email for the request....the good doctor WILL NOT put you on any mailing list, it's just to make sure people aren't stuffing the ballot box themselves! You can also record an MP3 and make an audio request and maybe hear yourself on the show!
