fiogf49gjkf0d Hey, guys. Long time no see. I just added my latest MIDI, "Emo Kid for Halloween," as a double celebration of Halloween and a birthday. That's right: I'm 19 years old today.
As usual, I ran into a few problems during sequencing. The biggest one was trying to add reverb to the organ. There's a MIDI controller for reverb. I tried using it, but it didn't work. The other option was to use a "master effect" that you can add to each track. Unfortunately, reverb only works on audio tracks. It won't work on MIDI tracks without a VSTi synthesizer. So I downloaded one, and what I got a completely different instrument. The last thing I tried was duplicating the organ track and using a different patch (instrument) for the copied track. That didn't work either. I couldn't think of anything else to do, so I just left it out. If anyone has another idea, let me know.
This is also my first rap sequence. I think the reason why there aren't many out there is because of the vocals. Here, I use the same tactic as I did in "Queen of Pop": use a percussive instrument.
