As you all are aware, I haven't done anything here in several weeks. Over that time period, I thought about my overall activity status since the last site upgrade. It's pretty bad now. Due to the amount of times TMMS has been delayed last year, I have stopped listening to it completely. I don't really care about funny music like I used to. Here's a list of the songs added to my collection in 2007 that I found out about from this site, the MMS, The FuMP, and the other programs that we have here:

Guns N' Moses - Radio Shack
Tim Wilson - The History of Rock
Bob Ricci - Mrs. Claus
The Dan Orr Project - Nights in White Castle
Hypnotic Clambake - 500 Robots
The Simpsons - Do the Bartman
Worm Quartet - Great Idea for a Song (Tesh-As-a-Mofo Version)
Stan Freberg - Elderly Man River
Sudden Death - Cellular Degeneration
Jake Waters - Emo Kid for Halloween
Meri Wilson - Rub-a-Dub-Dub

Now compare that to 2006:
Lemon Demon - I've Got Some Falling to Do
The great Luke Ski - It's a Fanboy Christmas
Tony Goldmark - Tech Support
The Fou Bitchin' Babes - Viagra in the waters
Stuckey & Murray - Taking a Dump at Work
Ricky Vera - Dragnet Goes to Kindergarten
Monty Python - Spam
Mylo Hatzenbuhler - We Couldn't Start the Tractor
Scott Beach - Religion & Politics
Carla Ulbrich - What If Your Butt Was Gone (Rock Version)
Strangely Brown - Girls Don't Fart
Carla Ulbrich - Dubya Is Coming to Town
Lemon Demon - The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
The great Luke Ski - A Man Named Jayne
The great Luke Ski - Vader Boy
The Irish Rovers - The Unicorn
Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy
Sandy Andina - Because We Can
Tony Burrello - There's a New Sound
Ozzy Fodd - Killl the Wabbit
Tom Lehrer - Poisoning Pigeons in the Park
The Hazzards - Gay Boyfriend
Sudden Death - Reign of Error
Worm Quartet - you were wrong cabinet sanchez
Weird Al - You're Pitiful
Carla Ulbrich - The Wedgie
Ken Turetzky - My Fat Ass Itches
The Beastly Boys - Squirrels
The Frantics - Ti Kwan Leep/Boot to the Head
Travis Meyer - The Devil Went to Jamaica
Tom "T-Bone" Stankus - Existential Blues
Nuclear Bubble Wrap - Wonka's Door
Logan Whitehurst - What It's Like in Japan
Flying Like Wilma - The Guy Who Doesn't Know Things
Matthew Hodgson - 1955
The Brobdingnagian Bards - Exclamations!
Jake Waters - MySpace
The Gonnabees - Queen of Pop
Nuclear Bubble Wrap - I Cannot Sing
Nervous Norvus - Transfusion
The great Luke Ski's Worst Album Ever! album (20 tracks)
Nuclear Bubble Wrap - We Didn't Watch the Trailer
Matthew Hodgson - Stacy's Dog
Nuclear Bubble Wrap - I Don't Let My Band Members Sing
Hudson & Landry - Obscene Phone Bust
Carla Ulbrich - On the Commode Again
Carla Ulbrich - (I'm a) Specialist
Weird Al's Straight Outta Lynwood album (12 tracks)
Garry Lee and Showdown - The Rodeo Song
Worm Quartet - I Don't Give a Sh*t About Your Website
Sudden Death - Dead Rappers
Worm Quartet - I'm Not a Girl
Mortimer Skroon - Give Me the Finger
The Consortium of Genius - Placebo!
Barnes & Barnes - Granny and the Kid
The Nails - 88 Lines About 44 Women
Julie Brown - 'Cause I'm a Blonde
Robert Lund - I Blog Alone
Rob Paravonian - Pachelbel

Only four of the 2007 tracks were after the site upgrade.

Another thing that's always bugged me is Peter and Stavro are always messing up forum threads by making comedy sketches out of them, even after asking them to stop.

I'd rather not go into anything else right now. My plan regarding this site is only use my MadSpace, nothing else. I mostly use it for file sharing, and once in a while I'll use the blog. But you'll rarely, if ever, see me update song pages or do anything else.

Trying to *bait* me again, I see. :-)

Well, you may be a master baiter. Or ties flys, but getting that ascot knot on their ties would be very dexterous.

Old guys? Ok grandpa. :-)

Anyway, we really try to keep that type of thing to blogs. Personally, I don't see what the problem is. If SBL doesn't like Monty Python, that's fine. No one is forcing him to read it.

Phil.... Your absence has not gone unnoticed. I've always enjoyed stopping in to chat in the chat room.... even if for a few minutes. And your point of view, as probably the youngest active member, is valued by me and many others here.

As for the Monty Python lines by Peter and Stavro.... Let the old guys have their fun. That's what this site is for. If you don't like their posts, just skip by them. (I sometime find myself seeding my posts.... just to see if they'll bite.)

Hi Phil,

I enjoyed all that you did here on TMMA. The shows you did on www.themadmusicarchive.com/playlist.aspx?Show=MMS-72 and www.themadmusicarchive.com/playlist.aspx?Show=MMS-40 were great, plus I've downloaded your MIDI files that you created. The one that was especially good is Julie Brown - Cause I'm a Blonde.

We hope you stick around here longer, and from time to time, pop in and say hello!
