Monty Python's Flying Circus
Episode 22: How To Recognise Different Parts of the Body

By: Monty Python

It's just gone 8 o'clock and time for the penguin on top of your television set to explode.Stavro Arrgolus
Recorded September 25, 1970, first aired November 24, 1970.

One of the most notable episodes in the series. Introduced the phrase "naughty bits" to Americans. Also gave us the "Bruces", TV mounted penguins and even managed to take a swipe at the Eurovision Song Contest for good measure.

Facts:
  • ©Python (Monty) Productions Ltd. (Stavro Arrgolus)
  • "British rules apply". No one spells 'recognize' with an 's' in America. It's spelled that way on this page (and in 'The Larch' episode) to be true to the original material. Lyrics will often be Americanized for convenience, but titles won't. (Stavro Arrgolus)
