Don Johnston was a friend of mine who died in 1979 in a motorcycle accident. He was a DJ at KACY in Oxnard at the time of his death. I knew he had given some tapes to Dr Demento before he died. About a week after Don died, Dr Demento called me, looking for Don, and I told him the sad news. He asked for permission to play a tape that Don had given him, and I told him that he would have to contact Don's mother. That's the last I heard about it until now.
Don Johnston was a great guy, and I still miss him a lot. I wish I could get a copy of this was a comedy sketch, I'm sure, as that is what he always did. I have a couple of his tapes with comedy sketches on them.
