I came up with this idea going through some of my songs and adding lyrics and 2 of mine are called I met a Snow woman and the other is The Joy of Snow but then as I was doing this I was reading a post by David Tanny where they are talking about Frank zappas song Yellow Snow.
Then there is the song on White Christmas about snow so I think you could do a whole topic just on snow and it would be a shame to go through winter without this as a topic.

I'd love to do it, as long as Wayne doesn't mind taking a week off. :) I'd need a lot of help from the community here to help with artist/band suggestions, so that we could fill two hours. I've received suggestions from people here that I just haven't been able to get to yet (so don't think I forgot about about you guys) that maybe I'll just hold on to for now in the event we do decided to do this.

fjrigjwwe9r2threads:MessageText fiogf49gjkf0d Wayne did do a show a while back of the top songs never played on the Mad Music Show. They were selected from the top songs played on Dr. Demento. Doing the same again would be a great idea, but leave the Demento connection out of it. Perhaps Jake could host a show made up entirely of New and Notable. At any rate, I second the idea, whichever way its done.

fjrigjwwe9r2threads:MessageText fiogf49gjkf0d "Family" is always a good topic- therein exploring such subjects as least favorite relatives; odd families, variations in "family values", etc.
"Pets" is another idea. All about domesticated critters and how they affect (or afflict) those around them...
"Bad Habits" because it's always fun to belittle the vices & personality flaws, more so in others, than in ourselves, of course! (I would suppose anything to do with chocolate would fit here, even though that is not a true vice, well not as long as you don't spend more than, say, $1000 a week on your fix...)
How about "Obscure Theme & Holiday Songs"? These can be crazy compositions that celebrate things & occasions familiar, as well as those not yet widely recognized...(National Rhinoplasty Day, anyone?)
I'm sure I'll think of more...

I would love to hear a Silly & Absurd Song show, although, maybe two hours of silly songs would be enough to put people off.
