The bottom line is that Dr. Demento will run his business/show how he sees fit. It's his right.... as it is David Tanny's right to run his business/show the way he sees fit... Likewise with Captain Wayne and all the others.

It doesn't matter that Doctor Demento has created a situation that makes his show almost inaccessible to many of his fans.... or at the least, too costly. That's his right too.

It's very possible that the current conditions may force Dr. Demento out of business... or it could awaken him into adopting a more fan friendly yet financially feasible approach. He's already heard many of the complaints and I think he's smart enough to understand what people are upset about.

I would love to hear Dr. Demento in my area once again, either on the radio or online. But failing that, there's already more than enough mad music offered right here. Doesn't matter to me that it's not Dr. Demento... He's only the DJ.

I think the bitching has gone too far. What began as simple complaints has become personal.

I believe we are bigger and better than that. We should leave Dr. Demento alone and focus our energies at supporting what we have right here.
