HHmmm. I guess that could be Dom. And isn't that John Rhys Davies? Oh well, those heavy set bearded guys all look the same. (G)

Pavaroti was a man who brought opera back to the people.... and with a sincere appreciation of opera (and all classical music) comes a lifetime supply of material to parody and otherwise inspire. Spike Jones, Allan Sherman and Victor Borge took full advantage of this. An appreciation of his music can only enhance your appreciation of mad music based on classical styles.

Luciano Pavaroti will be missed. His music will live on.

I know he did not record any demented material, but I am going to miss Luciano Pavaroti, passing away today at the age of 71, of pancreatic cancer.

I enjoyed his music, I think he was the best of the three.

a howard stern fan once did a phony phone call as pavarotti's assistant ordering room service. it was a mound of food he ordered while "pavarotti" could be heard warming up in the background. if anyone has it digitally it'd be nice to hear. not out of disrespect, just to soften the sadness.
