I just did a little experiment.... I checked out who is active within 50 miles of my location and noticed an error. (Somebody who I know was online on Friday did not show up on the active list. Also, my brother, who is not active but not suspended, does not show up on any list.) If it happened once, it could happen again. Perhaps it's something Wayne could take a look at.

Most are 'inactive'. After 30 days without a visit to the site, they're taken off the 'active' list and they vanish from the map. At least until they visit again. Last Xmas, there were dozens of 'actives' in my area inside the 25 mi. perimeter you see when you hit your red dot on the map. Now there are 2 here. The accounts that aren't 'suspended' for posting obscenities or giving fake addresses or whatever are still there. They just need to be goosed into taking an interest in the site again.

30,000 members is quite a bit since this site started. I see just over 1,000 current active members now. What happened to the other 29,000 members?

Last Halloween, the current member list climbed up to near 2,000. They must have come here for those Mad Music Shows. Ya gotta train some people to listen to titles they never heard before.

Well, Wayne and myself have seen member 29,999 sign-up. So it looks like we will get member number 30,000 in just a little while.
