I like it, even (especially?) it it seems you are celebrating your subject matter more than you're poking fun at it. Actually, the song you parodied - Bang A Gong by T.Rex, was an early "glam" song. The glam movement in general, and the recording sessions for Bang A Gong in particular, was fueled not by bongs but by coke.. I think you'd have to be a more established artist to get songs with certain subject matters played on Dr. Demento.
