This is a wonderfully absurd rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" that will resonate with anyone who has been in a Christmas choir. The gifts start showing up, the conductor has a breakdown, and ... well . . . - chibibarako
  • This is actually a fairly obscure recording; it has been out of print for many many years. If you can find it, grab it! (chibibarako)

Trivia question: do we have any way of knowing if Cecelia was played by the same actress who played Birdy on The Great Gildersleeve, or is she just a sound-alike?

I used to hear this all the time on WGN-AM in Chicago; never realized that the recording is as old as I am (nor that you just can't get it anymore!).
