So that might be why this boy was blue
On July 23 at one in the afternoon
When the toy he treasured was missing

Sometimes he even slept with it
This toy was so very special
I am confident
It was the toy he loved most of all

Well he looked in his yard
And looked in his house
Yes he looked in the park
With the funny slide mouse

Yeah he looked at the zoo
& he looked around the square
What could he do
He looked everywhere
It wasn't on his special funny looking chair
It wasn't over here
It wasn't over there

Yes he looked everywhere

So for a while he was sad
It was hard to make him glad
All the time everyday too
His life was like a musician playing the blues

But then one day it dawn on him
Maybe it was an inspiration
Maybe it was just a whim
But thinking to himself he thought
Why am I so caught
In just this one toy my parents bought
I have other toys and friends too
I have other things I can do

So that was his liberation
That was the start of his freedom vacation
When he no longer had to have this one toy
Is when he found life was full of many joys

Hot, cold, happy, cloudy, sunny, dry, wet

So I hope your's is in more than one toy
I hope your's is in many friends and family
And also lots of fun good activities

And whether you have little or plenty
I hope you live for love and act heavenly
