This is a song I wrote about Luke that he requested me to play for this show. This isn't really one of my best songs and I don't know when it will be on CD. Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Star Trekkies and Scifi Fanboys Don't let them build models or play with those scifi dolls, make them be football players,hockey, or study math instead of standing in movie lines Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Star Trekkies and Scifi Fanboys Cause they'll never leave home they always want to be in their room alone watching some video they've seen or some DVD they've seen 50 million times Scifi fanboys or Star Trekkies aren't easy to understand especially if they talk in klingon, and they're harder to buy a gift for Especially if what they want is out of stock or over priced in the store You might get it at E-bay on E-bay you know you might get it there if your really lucky but don't bid to soon Or else you end up spending all your money as the price sky rockets to the moon hey I said something scifi I said the word moon Can you imagine what the guy that wrote this song would look like if he was Darf Vader Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Star Trekkies and Scifi Fanboys Don't let them build those models of star trek or star wars make them study math or science instead of standing in movie lines. I never went to it myself but anyways Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Scifi Star Trekkies and Scifi Fanboys Cause you know they'll always want to stay home in their room all alone and you know they borrow your dvd and then they never bring it back even though they've seen 50 million times Scifi Fanboys and Star Trekkies like to watch vampires, and weird monsters and aliens from outer-space TV shows and Movies that have nothing to do with anything in this real you know this real world this kind of place You know they may not even care about college degree, or working at a bank and or you know don't ask them what their going to do for a job They might even end up a janitor and you know it's your fault when they end up a janitor because you were using the TV set to babysit them Bob Bob's the only word I could find that rhymes with job Okay sing it with me everybody now Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Star Trekkies and Scifi Fanboys? Don't let them build models or play with those scifi dolls (have you got the Darf Vader one) make them study math or play hockey or basketball instead standing in movie lines. I'm sorry it's taking me so long to say all these words.
