Art Paul Schlosser wrote the lyrics to this song because he was inspired by the post in themadmusicarchive.com forum Called The Tiger's Wide Awake at http://www.themadmusicarchive.com/thread.aspx?TopicID=2712 In this post people were talking about another parody to The Loin Sleeps tonight called The Tiger's Wide Awake and also because of the Tiger in San Fransico zoo situation and because of the people in post encouraging people to write a song about this situation. Art Paul Schlosser submitted it to Spookster and the Scaremenots because they posted in themadmusicarchive.com forum that they were looking for a lyric writer. The music arrangement is based on The Lion Sleeps Tonight but in the unique style of Spookster and the Scaremenots. (artpaul)
