This song was written I believe the summer 1997 right after I moved into my West Wilson apartment.I had met some pretty cool college students who were hanging out at this apartment on Broom street. One of them work at Capitol Foods grocery store so I kind of made this up about him while hanging out at the grocery store.It was kind of fun living on west wilson and shopping at Capitol Foods. We used to get pop in 2 liters for about .89 cents.Often on Friday or Saturday Nights walking home from performing on State street people would stop me on Bassette street and Broom street or West Mifflin and offer me money to hear a song or just want to say hi and talk.
