fiogf49gjkf0d Since The Tonight Show is all repeats this week, I was hoping some production assistant would have been able to get a h u g e pile of George Carlin segments together for a show instead of a two week old show.

fiogf49gjkf0d I read somewhere- and my screwy cable schedule says that HBO2 will run the Carlin specials tonight and tomorrow starting in prime time and going to 1 am or so on both days. I recorded them all years ago, but I always watch them when they're on cable again. I think stuff like this is one of the few reasons I haven't decided to dump cable entirely.

fiogf49gjkf0d Thanks for the heads- up. I don't normally watch TV, so I didn't know this was happening. The rest of my family watches a lot of TV, and we do get HBO on analog cable.
I have ordered a case of pro-grade SVHS tapes to be delivered Friday, so I'll be ready for the HBO stuff. SNL I think I can just grab digitally off-air from my local NBC affiliate - KHAS-DT 21.
