fiogf49gjkf0d Well, I figured it's time for me to blog a little about what the hell is going on. Nothing bad really, just super-busy this week. I haven't even been on the site in a week, and I'm one show behind.
I plan to get last week's show up tonight and this week's show on Monday night. At least that's the plan. Oh, next week’s topic is: Politics (on honor of all the caucuses and primaries going on).
I'm sorry if you have sent an e-mail and I haven't replied or addressed the issue, I'm just starting to look into that stuff. I did go through my e-mail... Deleted/filed-away over a thousand, still 1,538 to do! I'll do them in reverse order so expect a reply shortly. Also, I haven’t even read the forums in the past week – I’ll get caught up on those soon too.
We hired a new guy at work to take over some of my more mundane programming chores so I can focus on bigger items, a couple of application rewrites (100 hours each), start to learn more on the AS/400 mainframe, be more of a manager rather than a worker. As a result I haven’t really had any free time to do much here – been training the new guy and working a little overtime to put out fires (as we call it).
Nothing new on the 2008 version of the site either – only the foundation and home page are done. I’ll be working on that a little this weekend. I was able to do a lot of testing on SQL Server 2005 and will be upgrading the webserver the week on 2/25. Expect a short outage while I migrate the databases.
Obviously I was finally able to get caught up on posting the podcasts – sorry for the delay. I also see there are some voting issued for DJ Particle’s show – I’ll address those ASAP!
Well, that’s enough for now – I’ll try to blog more and dilly-dally less. At least you will be able to see where my head’s at!

FOLLOW-UP:
The good news is I'm down to just 97 e-mails. The bad news is that they are still there because I have action items attached to each (so, a to-do list with 97 things on it).
As a result of pretty-much doing this all day the new show won't be online until tomorrow. I'm not sure what time, but sometime!
