Yes, even I am surprised that Celine Dion tops my list of favorite songs of 2007. Because I love many different types of music, I can never tell from what musical genres my favorites will emerge from. And, while I may disagree with the obvious political message of "Ah Mary," I love the sound of the song so much that it ended up in my top 5. In fact, lyrics rarely play a major role in my selections. I always absorb the sound of a song long before I pay attention to the lyrics.
