The Mad Music Hour #171 - September 16, 2013
Topic: Heat: Summer's Last Stand

A cavalcade of heat-oriented dementia, from hot pants to Hell. In Segment 3, a vampire takes over the show (on purpose this time) and adds Satan and blood to the mix.

Next week: Organ Grinder 2

Show Facts:
Apparently, vampires have a thing for country music. Who knew? That would explain that whole Dr. Elmo "Redneck Drac" thing. (Stavro Arrgolus)
In case you missed it, "Aki Kara No Summertime" loosely translates as "Autumn Begins With Summertime". The equinox is the sub-theme of the show, after all. There were many more summery songs I could have played, but this show is (secondarily) about the end of summer. (Stavro Arrgolus)
"And it's as hot as my pants" is a reference from the "Bells" episode of "Blackadder II". (Stavro Arrgolus)
Since Count Aarhus visits the show to host segment 3 instead of taking it over, the Pythonesque fanfare announcing it, "And now for something totally...other than else", doesn't play when he does. (Stavro Arrgolus)
Yes, I know "Turn On The Heat" takes place in winter. I just wanted an oldie in this show. (Stavro Arrgolus)

You can't reply in any other forum but the main one and in the blogs and you can't edit in the news forum. These are more broken functions requiring repair. But after Wayne's recent encounter with the lawyers over the site...
