fiogf49gjkf0d Thanks for playing Hey WKRP! It's actually my fourth retro break-in interview with Hey Three Stooges in 2011, Hey Welcome Back Kotter for 2012, and Hey Eight is Enough for 2013. To answer the song-era note: I have a rule to use the songs that came out within a year's range just like what Dickie Goodman did for his break-in recordings such as Mr. Jaws (using hits from mid 1974 to mid 1975) and Hey E.T. (hits from early to mid 1982) for example. I broke that rule with an excerpt of Elvis Costello's "Radio Radio" coming out in late 1977 but I used it because it fit the theme of radio anyway. I also threw in a sprinkle of excerpts of Dr. Demento hits that were popular in the mid 1978-mid 1979 range along with some of the new wave classics and top 40 hits. I also reuploaded the song after changing "weekend morning deejay" for Dr. Johnny Fever to "weekday morning deejay" and fixed the sound level of Kirk Cameron Swayze being pounded by falling dead puppies after the too high sound level resulting in some clipping.
