Neil and guitarist Andy started writing songs for fun when they were about 16 years old. This was around 1993. The songs were basically comedy tunes about local characters and heroes. Bass player Antony then joined the band in 1996 but it took Geronimo around another four years to take their music even remotely seriously and in 1999/00/01 recorded their album 'Splice The Main Brace' with the help of friend and keyboard player Darren Prescott. In the last few years Geronimo have written some of their finest music to date and have now decided the time is right to share that music with the world (thegiantelf)
