Reviews:
Facts:
  • "Owl Stretching Time" was one of the many names considered for the series before "Monty Python" was decided upon. (Stavro Arrgolus)
  • The captions at the beginning of the show say this is "Episode Arthur, Part 7, 'Teeth' ". They do get around to doing a sketch about teeth, sort of, but not until the final sketch and then only after Graham Chapman's 'Colonel' character prods them to do it. (Stavro Arrgolus)

I heard that! ...Right! As officer commanding the Regular Army's Advertising Division, I object, in the strongest possible terms to this obvious reference to our own slogan 'lt's a dog's life ...a man's life in the modern army' and I warn this program that any recurrence of this sloppy, long-haired, civilian plagiarism will be dealt with most severely.

When I get all 45 (+2) of these in, I'll add the TV versions of the sketches and then move on. Lots of comedy TV series to add. Any facts you want to add to the shows? Something I left out?

If you want facts, I'll have to watch the shows again. It seems like a good excuse. I'll call it "research."

I just recently got the Pythons Autobiography by the Pythons, if you need any background info.

I know there are lots of sites that have this sort of thing and are dedicated to Python alone. Whenever I mess with this stuff here, I find I'm often thinking, "Shouldn't we have this here so I don't have to always go to other sites to find it? I have them all bookmarked to get the details- it'd be nice if..."

I asked Wayne to change a page detail that would allow the addition of video as well as audio- and here's the 1st example of the results in action. I wanted to start with something familiar to make sure a 'TV show page' could be done reasonably well and then move on to other series, cable specials and TV in general that might have audio that could be used in one of the shows on the site in some way.

In doing these Python series pages, I find that I no longer remember everything I thought I did about it. Maybe you can point out some of the details I forget when I make them.
