The March 26th show has two changes. The first change was that I replaced the weirdest songs ever made with songs about puns. But just today I decided to scrap the puns show because I lost interest in the idea. Nothing against puns, I just decided it wasn't worth it. So instead, we'll have a random episode on March 26th as I have a lot of stuff in mind from a few FuMP songs I missed out between this week and a little bit of next week, a tribute to Tony Hendra, among other ideas. As of now, nothing has changed for the next three months but updates will be made in case anything does.

Just one very quick update. The upcoming Irish wackiness show on March 12th will be a full hour of funny Irish songs. I had this in mind for a year or two but never got around to making it happen.

Just once, I'd like to hear a show about animals other than dogs or cats.

Lots of animals can be funny & there could be whole show parts made just for...goats or sheep or horses, or most hilariously...ducks. They quack me up. If I had the energy to make a show about them, I would. ...But I don't.

Thanks.

For Larry King there is a song parody of Cheap Trick's "Surrender", it's called "Suspenders" by Steve Goodie

Wacky Ben:

Got a few changes made so it's time to share the fixed playlist again. First let me say that because I took a break at the last minute and had no show on January 8th, I switched the Spider-Man show to January 29th which will be next Friday. That's why January 15th was random and I still kept to Goodbye Donald show on the 22nd as planned. But what about the Bob Dylan style parodies and parodies show? Well that will be postponed until further notice. As for the upcoming giants show on February 5th, again that'll be postponed until further notice. What I have planned for that day is an interview with Steve Goodie that I will be recording this coming week. However, if that is not for a full half hour, it'll probably be another random show. I might also pay tribute to Larry King on the February 5th episode but unfortunately I can't find a good funny song about Larry King. But as for the rest of February and March, they all stay the same.

Funny how I didn't share the schedule this time but I figured it would be better to just run by the changes instead. Hopefully no more changes will be made and by the time March arrives, the schedules for April, May and June will be posted eventually.

Because I scrapped the monthly Top 5, I had to rework on the upcoming show ideas. So I'll reintroduce the upcoming shows during the first three months of 2021. Some are the same, some are switched from previous schedules and shows I had planned during the upcoming months, and some are newly added.

January 2021:

1/1/21: episode 206 (the first wackiness of 2021) (w/ Bonus Cut)
1/8/21: episode 207 (random)
1/15/21: episode 208 (Spider-Man)
1/22/21: episode 209 (Goodbye Donald) (w/ Bonus Cut)
1/29/21: episode 210 (Bob Dylan style parodies and parodies)

February 2021:

2/5/21: episode 211 (giants)
2/12/21: episode 212 (Star Trek)
2/19/21: episode 213 (video games 1 of 2)
2/26/21: episode 214 (video games 2 of 2)

March 2020:

3/5/21: episode 215 (COVID's one year plague)
3/12/21: episode 216 (Irish wackiness)
3/19/21: episode 217 (springtime)
3/26/21: episode 218 (the weirdest songs ever made)

I will be introducing the Bonus Cut on our first show coming up this Friday instead of January 22nd which I had originally planned. However we will still have a Bonus Cut on the 22nd because it's what I have already planned. Unfortunately I don't know when I'll have more Bonus Cuts but that all depends on what happens. Newly added is our Spider-Man show. A half hour of songs about everyone's favorite web-slinging superhero from Marvel Comics. The last two weeks of February will be dedicated to video games. The classics and some of the modern games. The last show for March will be a dedication to some of the weirdest songs ever made. Not weird in a bad way, just incredibly goofy like something incredibly twisted from Worm Quartet for example. If any changes are made, I will make an update.

No topic updates or changes but I decided to scrap the monthly Top 5. As soon as I can work on some show ideas to replace the monthly Top 5 I will make an update.

Wacky Ben:

Sure we still have one last month of 2020 to go through and I normally do this a month before the upcoming three month shows. But in this case I thought I should do this early. So here's what to expect during the first three months of 2021 which will hopefully be the beginning of a better start and a soon to be end of the pandemic.

January 2021:

1/1/21: First Wackiness of 2021
1/8/20: random
1/15/21: Bob Dylan style parodies
1/22/21: Goodbye Donald
1/29/21: Top 5

February 2021:

2/5/21: Giants
2/12/21: We Love Star Trek
2/19/21: unknown (possible interview)
2/26/21: Top 5

March 2021:

3/5/21: COVID's one year plague
3/12/21: Irish wackiness
3/19/21: Going green
3/26/21: Springtime/Top 5

We're starting our brand new monthly Top 5 where at the end of the month we countdown the five wackiest songs we played during the month. Then at the end of the year we have our first ever Top 10 countdown. As our first show begins on New Years Day, we'll take the time to look back at what happened in 2020 and include our annual Best of the Dumb Newsbreak. Our show on January 22nd is something I've been waiting to do for about the past two to three years. Since the 22nd is two days after Inauguration Day and Joe Biden is sworn in as our new president, we'll say goodbye to the Trumpster with a half hour of some of the funniest songs about our former commander in chief. Also on that episode I plan to introduce the show's first ever Bonus Cut. An after show portion where we play songs we either didn't get a chance to play or they were too much for to be played. Good example: the content was against my show's policy.

You may have noticed that for February we don't have our annual Valentine's Day show. That's because for personal reasons I decided not to have one in 2021. Maybe in 2022. So instead I thought we'd dedicate an entire episode to Star Trek. A franchise that many nerds love. And the last show I wish to talk about is our first show of March which will be our "dedication" to COVID plaguing America for a year. A half hour of songs made about the virus, the pandemic, and having to quarantine. It may not be pretty and many seem to want to forget that COVID ever happened but then it will fall victim to the Spanish flu which became known as the forgotten flu and the forgotten pandemic. We don't want history to repeat itself again now do we?

So that's what's coming up during the first three months of 2021. Some of these shows may have changes or updates like the February 19th show which may possibly have an interview with a comedy artist. So expect some updates to come up eventually. And we will also continue the Dumb Newsbreak both on Wackiness On The Rise and on A-Log On The Airwaves. As for the Bonus Cut, I don't know how often I will be having that at the end of a show but it all depends on what I may have missed out on or if it's something I couldn't find myself playing. Let's hope that 2021 is a better time for the wackiness and soon brings an end to the pandemic.
