I saw it & thought, "I'd better go update the Stiller & Meara page." Only to find we didn't have one. No Jerry Stiller. No Anne Meara. Not as a team & not separately.

Apparently, Dr. D. has never played any of their material on his show or we'd have it here by default. As the only showmaker (HA!) here who can actually remember them, I don't play them for the same reason Mort Sahl or Bob Newhart aren't cornerstones of my shows. Laid back, topical early '60s material has a shelf life. And they were never intense enough for TMMS.

Stiller & Meara were an actual comedy act that qualifies to be here. If someone finds comedy tracks of theirs that we should be playing every now and again, I wouldn't object to their inclusion.
