Topic: Upcoming topics for Wackiness On The Rise (April, May and June)

As it's now the first day of March, let's announce what's coming up during the next three months starting in April.

April 2020:
4/3/20: episode 176 (random)
4/10/20: episode 177 (Good Friday)
4/17/20: episode 178 (Earth Day)
4/24/20: episode 179 (Halloween in April)

May 2020:
5/1/20: episode 180 (First!)
5/8/20: episode 181 (fairy tales and nursery rhymes)
5/15/20: episode 182 (unknown)
5/22/20: episode 183 (unknown)
5/29/20: episode 184 (4th anniversary)

June 2020:
6/5/20: episode 185 (parodies 1 of 2)
6/12/20: episode 186 (parodies 2 of 2)
6/19/20: episode 187 (summertime)
6/26/20: episode 188 (vacations)

We start the month of April with a random show since I feel it's time to have another one. Then on Good Friday, we'll be playing songs with "good" in the title. Example: "Good Old Days" by Weird Al Yankovic. On April 17th, we'll be celebrating Earth Day a few days in advance as it is also the 50th anniversary of Earth Day too. And on April 24th, something really special and that is Halloween in April. A full hour of spooky funny songs to commemorate Walpurgis Night. I don't know much about the holiday but I do know some like to think of it as Halloween in April. That's why I'm doing this.

In May, we start our first show on the first day of May. We'll be playing songs with "first" in the title. Good example: "First Of May" by Jonathan Coulton. Then on the 8th, it's our first ever dedication to fairy tales and nursery rhymes. A selection of songs based on both fairy tales and nursery rhymes like "Li'l Red Riding Hood" by Sam The Sham, "The Window" by Trout Fishing In America, etc. The 15th and 22nd I have no ideas for those two yet so expect an update to be made soon. And finally on the 29th, it's our show's 4th anniversary. I don't really have anything special planned for that episode except maybe just some favorites or a very special topic. I'll be saving an even bigger idea for the 5th anniversary show in 2021.

Lastly, June of 2020. We'll start the month two a 2-part episode dedicated to song parodies. I originally had this idea for last year or the year before but scrapped due to a last minute plan. It was just one show at that time so I figured we'd go for two in this case. Then on the 19th, we welcome the summertime with our funny selection of songs about the summer. And kind of a sequel to the summertime show, we end the month of June with songs about vacations. Something I think a lot of us would like to take.

Those are the shows for April, May and June. Some of these episodes maybe subject to change and if that ever happens I will then make an update. I hope everyone enjoys these upcoming episodes and until then, please enjoy the upcoming shows coming up during the month of March.

Only problem is that the Easter show may not happen because I made the announcement of postponing production of Wackiness On The Rise due to the pandemic. This may have to wait until next Easter which sucks because I didn't have an Easter portion last year and I was really hoping to do one this year.

There's a change of plan on one of the shows in April. Instead of songs with "good" in the title on our April 10th show, I decided to just switch to playing Easter songs. Songs about the Easter holiday, the Easter bunny, just songs that are Easter themed. Any more new updates will be made soon.
