No. When the holiday playlists were compiled, the priority was to max out the number of tracks since holiday songs are limited, so SWF wasn't considered.

My only criteria for the playlist are - "does it suck?" (quality over quantity), "is it even a holiday track?" (some got in that weren't when Wayne compiled the list) and "is it duplicated?" We don't want listeners hearing the same track over & over. They'll tune out if there's lots of that.

Stavro Arrgolus:

There's only a week left until it's "that time of year" again.

In the past couple of decades, Halloween has slowly engulfed all of October in much the way that Xmas encompasses everything after Thanksgiving now.

So, since "Halloween season" is now the whole month, Mad Music Radio will switch over to the Halloween playlist one week from today on the 1st. Since the thing consists of free copyrighted music Wayne paid the fees for the rights to use with no commercials, there's no reason not to give it a listen every now and again.

I haven't updated the playlist in a couple of years, so if you've any bright ideas on what to add, don't keep it to yourself, shout it out so all the theatre can hear you. ...God, can I even go one post without making a Monty Python reference?

You get the idea. New season, new H'ween songs. Besides, it's not like I'm going to make a holiday show anytime soon without a new microphone (though I am compiling songs for them), so you can hear the Halloween hilarity anytime in October. Wayne & I made damn sure all the favorites are on the playlist, so listen next week & make it the background music for your whole "Halloween season." And perhaps suggest new songs for it. "Adopt, adapt and improve."
