I'm fond of Honky Tonk Confidential's Goin' Round The World. (Can't find a mention of it in the database- possibly a new one for Mad Music? I'm not sure if HTC is still around, but they do (did?) have a lot of clever lyrics, and more than a few are alcohol-inspired.)

Now that you mention it...

I never do shows about "alcohol" alone or, for that matter, "dogs" or "cats". Dr. D. does it all the time. It's never strange enough. If it were me, a show about any mundane things would always be indirect. "What Drunks Do", "How did that cat get here?" "Shut that damn dog up!"  - It'd start with that, then the show would slowly turn ugly/weird/clinically insane. The episode would have a silly title and snide commentary at the top of the playlist. Oh, wait. All my shows have that..
