Marvelous. Those work for me & will look good above the playlists. Often wonder where the non-copyrighted art is obtained. Ours were donated by a fan, as you know. But where do...I can just JFGI, I imagine. I can add these to past shows after I sort out Xmas 1.

In other news, recording Xmas shows before the Xmas season can be every bit as surreal as making them in April for the 10 segment special I made a few years ago. Especially when one's living room is decorated for an entirely different holiday.

Wayne fixed the custom content function, so adding banners won't be such a chore. Some of the forums remain buggy, though. Hope he finds some free time to sort it out. And possibly make Xmas show 3. One of us has to. I made 2 last year (shows 1 & 4) - I'll have to manage 3 shows this time around...yeah, like that's going to get done on time. Don't hold your breath.

Around these parts, November is winter related. And if he wants, he can tack requests onto the beginning (or wherever) of the show the way Wayne used to. It was me who suggested requests be added this way & called "The Captain's Treasure Chest". He could call it "Dave-y Jone's Locker" or something. As long as the rest is Thanksgiving related. There's a lot of liberties you can take with that topic anyway.

I can even send him the auto-request file where I put requests I get from the one-touch request song page buttons.

Yes, I put that one in the file for custom content. It's even been added to a show or 3, but not all in case you wanted a different banner. I use 2 different (but badly made, as I suck at Photoshop) banners for TMMH.

All this is just for the show page above the playlist. It doesn't have to move or flash - in fact, it's better if it doesn't. I mean banners for your TMMS & TMMH shows. You don't have any. Neither does Wayne. I have all 4. And yes, they could have been a lot better.

If I could, I'd make a banner identical to the one I use for TMMS with the white background (it's white to make it look like it's part of the page itself) & Black Chancery font - differently worded, of course-  except Wayne's pirate art would appear on the left side since the picture faces that way. His picture would be identical in size to mine. Because synchronicity = good.

It could say something like "The Mad Music Show with site creator & original host Captain Wayne (or "Dread Captain Wayne")." - or words to that effect.

For now, I'll let go of the fact that the custom content function is broken & can't be edited after the initial save. That's an entirely different can of worms to avoid opening.

I still think shows are more fun my way, but I get it.

Have you considered making large banners for your own shows? These are the ones that appear above the playlist. These things grab your attention immediately when you see the page, so they're worth having.
