You guys still have time to make your requests for our controversial comedy songs topic and so far I have one made on the Ben's Wacky Radio Facebook page.

Earlier this week I did get a request to play a Christmas song by Robert Lund (assuming for hour one) and while I am willing to go ahead and play it I want to announce that I only play Christmas songs in December so I stay in season (only time I make an exception is when we do Christmas In July shows which we won't have this year). So if you want to request Christmas songs, please wait until December (or get ahead start in November) because it's best to stay in season. Take care.

I thought about waiting until sometime on Sunday to post this but I decided to once again get ahead start. On Sunday, March 22nd, it's our look into some controversial comedy songs. 45 minutes or less of some comedy songs that didn't have people laughing when they were first released in music stores and played on the radio but are now popular and considered classics today. Example (a song we won't play because it's out of season): "Green Chri$tma$" by Stan Freberg. If you have a favorite controversial comedy song then request it right here right now. 2 to 3 songs only as this is a 45 minute topic.
