If there was a time of the year to execute the Sanity Clause, this would be it.

Hey guys, Wacky Ben here with not only some bad news but also a bit of an end of the year update. Now as you see in the title I am sorry to say that my comedy show Ben's Wacky Radio will be on hiatus for the entire month of January and the reason why is because I'm just ready to take a break. I have been hosting the podcast version of this show ever since I joined madmusic.com in 2011 and I have rarely taken breaks. Only one time I was unable to produce a show because of MarsCon back in March of this year but that's what happens when you're having way too much fun. I have actually considered taking some time off from producing more episodes of Ben's Wacky Radio and now I have come to the difficult decision and I decided to take an entire month off which means no new shows in January. So I hope to be back in February to make new episodes and pick up where I left off. That also means that January's shows I have scheduled will be postponed including next week's show which is the two-part FuMPer's Dr. Demento debut and once I look back at my schedule for 2015 I might consider postponing those two shows in March, the other two I'll see what's empty in the schedule. So yeah guys, this entire month of January there will be no 2-hours of the wackiest songs on the face of the earth and again I hope to be back into recording new episodes for February. It's a tough decision but I think a break is what I need right now.
As for some other updates, I really don't have much except that once more I do plan to switch to Sundays and that will now have to wait until February because of my one-month break. Other than that it really has been a decent year for Ben's Wacky Radio especially since the show turned 10 years old ever since I started this show in 2004 at WQNA and I'm hoping that 2015 turns out to be a really great year especially in comedy music.
And with that guys that's pretty much my update and until I return in February you guys take care and remember to NOT break your funny bones.
