fiogf49gjkf0d For the year of 2015, ISGD will be featuring commercial parodies, those short 1-2 minute pieces of recordings that make fun of products, TV shows, networks, and other crazy stuff, you know, like an audio version of Wacky Package stickers.
Many acts have recorded commercial parodies such as Stevens and Grdnic, Firesign Theater, National Lampoon, NBC's Saturday Night Live, American Comedy Network, Cirque Du So What, Greg Eggman Moore, Bob and Tom, and yours truly.
I'll feature a 10-minute set of commercial parodies in each of the ISGD shows during the year. Go ahead and request what you want me to play.
And yes I do list commercial parodies on my play lists since they are basically spoken word sketches.
