OK.

Addenda: You can send copies of the shows on mp3 to my snail mail address or via large file sharing link (you might not be able to send huge files via e-mail.) Also note that if you send me shows via snail mail, be sure it's a copy (and you keep the original) because I won't be able to return them.

Don't let Viscount Vyslo or my nephew Tyro Arrgula near one of those shows. Just saying...

The Mad Music Comedy Zone is also open for demented deejays who want to show their skills in production, hosting and selecting the demented recordings, but the MMCZ is more flexible so you can play most anything even the stuff terrestrial radio cannot play, and you can produce the show for any length you need.

But I prefer keeping it between 30 and 90 minutes.

Considering that one of my letters made his Viewer Mail segment in 1991? Maybe.

I know what you are doing...you're taking the time to get your audition 'tape' together to take over for David Letterman.

I'm hanging up my keyboard after the April 26 edition of ISGD for a while. It's been a fun time, but I need to take a break from producing and hosting the ISGD shows. At least one new show a month may be produced to keep the show's slot going. I might make a weekly return near the end of the year.

This is a great opportunity for any budding demented deejay to flex their demented jock muscles. You can produce and host your own show using the "I Still Get Demented" name and imaging. You can produce your own beginning and ending theme montages, sweepers, bumpers, and even run your own commercials (real ones for actual products) between the sets.

Here's the breakdown of the show's format.

ISGD Pre-show: 6:00 (six minutes). Talk about what you're going to do with that week's show, share some news in the world of funny music, some behind the scenes about upcoming new music releases, use my Demented Datebook feature, or world premiere a brand new demented song that hasn't been released before and talk about it. That's some suggested ideas.

ISGD Show: 1:36:00 show time total. Produce the show in two mp3 parts. Each part has three segments separated by your selection of real commercials (not parodies from SNL, Eggman, David Tanny, etc.). Be sure to leave enough room in time for you to talk. I give it 9:00 minutes for DJs. Your talk time may vary.

If you want, you can feature some of the songs (full versions) from the Mad Music Top 20 Revenge show since many of the current hits are heard as excerpts and not as full versions. This can help fill out the time.

ISGD Bonus Part: 14:00. Go deeper in the genre of dementia. Just play whatever you feel needs to get played.

Rating PG-13. Some restrictions: no squick cuts, no profanity, no disparaging and offensive material, no racial epithets, in short, keep it clean or it won't run on Mel's speaker system in his taco shop in Mira Mesa.

It would be best if you used the funny songs you have in your collection as chances are many of them never aired on any show archived here or on Dr. Demento's show. Give the listeners something proprietary. Also, some of the premiering songs that never got played might be on the Demented Music Poll '14 ballot page, which is under development on a weekly basis as new songs come into the scene and get posted there once played on ISGD.

Other features you can use: demented news, selections from funny podcast shows, new wave music archives (which is my field of music), current stand up spotlights, and more. Also, play some demented stuff that never aired on ISGD as I don't get a chance to listen to many new funny stuff as my time has grown too short.

All DJs here are welcome to participate. I also want to have some new demented deejays use my show to get a thrill of producing a show. Produce the show the way you feel you want it to sound like.

Have fun.
