fiogf49gjkf0d Yes.
And Karl is correct. These songs, for the most part, aren't dementia. They're pop tunes of another era, so don't add them to the archive if they aren't there already.
Where is the line drawn? The subject matter. Usually if the song's even remotely about 'love' or, more realistically, trying to get laid, then it's not dementia. Though there are exceptions...
Just an addendum to all of this. If you really want some fun, have a upcoming show kill a half hour with the "death songs" of the '70s such as "Blind Man In the Bleachers", "Run Joey Run", "Billy, Don't Be A Hero", "Timothy" (of course) or the big one, "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia". And I'm just scratching the surface of this potential theme. Just a thought.

Would you consider "Dizzy" by Tommy Roe a bubblegum song?

fiogf49gjkf0d Next Tuesday we're dedicating the show to the funnier side of bubblegum music, the songs that related to teenagers back in the 60s and 70s that were actually pretty catchy. If you have a favorite bubblegum song request it right here right now.
