It's a twisted cover of a twisted psychedelic song from the early 70's by a Bay Area band called "It's A Beautiful Day." I sing it as an Operatic duet between a tenor and a soprano, only I sing both roles, in real time. I have been meaning to shoot a video of it, as the prop humor is definitely part of the effect... May I suggest Opera as a subset of a show on Classical music? Then you can get into PDQ Bach and Victor Borge as well as any number of House of Warner cartoons not to mention the House of Mouse. The infamous Dueling Ducks scene from Who Framed Roger Rabbit springs to mind. It also opens up a couple of other Spike Jones and similar novelty pieces. Long-haired music has always been a source of hilarity when approached correctly. Suggested drop-in: A line from The Last Action Hero where the kid says something like "Don't trust him! He killed Amadeus!" Well, there I go thinking again. And here I told the judge I wouldn't do that any more...
