Oh, all right. There.

Though I was working on the new podcast as the schedule is a day behind.

So can you change the artist's name now, after you finished the Halloween show from 2012.

Stavro Arrgolus:

Can't say I'm wildly surprised. But minor details like this can wait a short time for something like a completed show. Especially since only one segment remains to record. And everyone (remaining) seems to like the holiday shows our DJs make.

Besides, details like this pale compared to the real challenge. I have a go at this every now and again. It's one of those 3 am sort of distractions.

To go through the main song list starting with the 'A's and merge every last duplicate page. And I mean song pages. You already know what can happen when artist pages are merged, even if the numbers are correct.

The more editors there are, the more that can go wrong. When it 'goes wrong', all kinds of error messages pop up and Wayne has to fix it. Unlike me, he's not retired and he's got actual things to do every day. I try not to overload him with these fixes.

I could give it a shot.

This track is indeed by Gary Paxton (Larry Wayne Stevens 1939-2016) & the ?s, but is also included on a Hollywood Argyles compilation.

This is because the Argyles were a quickie act thrown together by Paxton & producer Kim Fowley. Fixing this completely involves making a new page and a lot of linking, but I'm in the middle of recording a Halloween show and I'm not letting this minutia trolling delay it.

I'll deal with this after the show is complete. Unless Dave wants to have a go at it first.
