Just Like Ahab The Arab Which i Am Playing the 90's Version Of it

    Dave AuJus:

Most likely another record label bought the rights to resell the song on a different CD compilation. Someone somewhere misspelled the song title and no one bothered to fix it.

It would be fine to list it as a song fact.

We know you are not crazy.

btw: Ray Stevens makes new recordings of all his old hits for every new "Greatest Hits" CD he makes. So there are 3 or 4 versions of each song running around. They all sound similar but they are different.

    Dan C:

ITunes has the song listed by the other title. I posted the pic for reference. Should the alternate title be listed under song facts? I'm just curious why it would be released like by the artist? (See I'm not crazy!!!)

here is the link..... Darren has to post his playlist so royalties can be paid to the artist and this version pulls up which is why I question the title. However there is an earlier cd release of this song with a different title. So it appears this particular song has 2 different titles depending on the cd!

No, I listened to it and the title is correct as it needs to be.

And it seems no one can spell any more. I see misspellings on TV and on supposedly reliable news sites all the time and they let it slide. People have spellcheck and they don't use it. ...First world problems.

Thanks for pointing that out Dan. Some people who upload songs to YouTube (and even MadMusic) can't spell sometimes. If you listen to the words of the song, they are "Grandpa got run over by our bird dawg" not "for".  "Runned" is not a word. So I am guessing that the title we have is good or close enough. This is my opinion and Wayne and Stavro may have a different one.

Grandpaw For Runned Over By Our Birddawg is the title listed on the cd Redneck Christmas Party. However I have seen it listed this way too. Same song different title. Which is correct?
