Could be. I saw/heard this on Captain Kangaroo in the '70s, so it was certainly used for that purpose at one point.

And maybe adults involved in one substance or another watched more Captain Kangaroo than kids. Just like Teletubbies. Only Mr. Moose wasn't gay like Tinky Winky. - or WAS he? He was always dropping balls on that poor guy in the blonde wig. Then there was that guy wearing Green Jeans named Lumpy...maybe it's best not to think about it.

And the lyrics were off a bit. I mistakenly transferred the lyrics from the King's Singers page and didn't adjust them. There, fixed.

Maybe he was writing a children's song.

    Not Sure If Serious

This is another one of those songs you had to be on 'very hard drugs' in the '70s to conceive of. No one writes songs about being a train these days, do they?

Was it sexual innuendo? Was he a 'train' about to go into a 'tunnel', or was he so whacked out that being a train sounded like a good idea? You can actually hear him giggling in the background on this, so the concept must have been amusing. The wacky tobacky makes everything amusing. Uh, drugs are bad, kids, mmmkay?
