Out of curiosity, is "they're" really spelled incorrectly on the label for the B side (E'yeht instead of Er'yeht)? Would be very interesting if it is . . .

Until this morning, I had no recollection of owning two circa 1973 45s of this song, Warner Bros. WB 7726 (US), and Warner Bros. K 16309 (UK). I knew I bought the original 45 back in 1966, but I remember ruining the forwards side with a greasy thumb that distorted the plastic. Must have thrown it out, as I was not going to listen to it by finger spinning the backwards versions backwards on the turntable to hear it forwards.
Anyway, In The Search For ... how to correctly spell this version of the song I rediscovered these in my record collection (dig this, they were in the 'normal' collection, not the demented 45s box). Back in 1966 and through 1973 (and beyond) Warner Bros. US used all capitol letters on their 45s for Title and Artist. So, hard to get a 'for sure' listing that way. In both the 1966 and 1973 45s, the backwards (flip) side printed almost everthing as a backwards image. However, on this UK WB 45 I have, they used mixed case on both sides, with the first letter of the now reversed title being capitolized, making it !Aaah-Ah ,Yawa Em Ekat Ot Gnimoc Er'yeht by VIX Noelpan. I changed the spelling above here, but did not fix the artist, as the last time I tried to fix an artist on a song page I was changing all listings for that artist, not just this song, and really scrogged the database for awhile.
Yep, this checking things out thing can take hours and make one go mental.

Do you all have a listing from an album that gives the mixed case spelling?
It's not listed on Second Coming CD, it's hidden track 21.

I'm not sure how the database is designed, but perhaps if "noelopaN VIX" is listed as another "aka" on Jerry Samuels' page it might at least make it possible for it to be made possible for it to (possibly) show up on a search.

It's a good thing Wayne doesn't mind programming. Once adjustments are made to get this one to show up in the desired results list, I fear somebody will look for a song that presents an even greater challenge.

Maybe because the wording is bas ackwards?

    DJ Particle:

    eep this is a dupe
...and why the actual entry didn't show up in the search for all of Nap's tracks eludes me.
