It's sometimes amusing to have some fun with things that don't apply to you anymore.
You have to have hair (or kids; possibly both) to be concerned about lice or chicken pox or such things.
If you've ever seen Red Dwarf, you might remember Lister's line (from S1 Ep4 "Waiting For God") that went, "Mankind doesn’t even have the technology to create a toupee that doesn’t get big laughs"
Long ago, when men were real men and sheep were real scared (read:1967), I decided that if I ever faced such a scenario, rather than waste money on hilarious hair replacements, I would shave off the horrid stuff completely and be a happier camper for having made the effort.
For me, it was an easy decision as my hair had always been horrid & uncontrollable, but perhaps some of you actually had good hair - (hair that's not a liability is difficult for me to envision).
Either way, I haven't been to a barber (or whatever they're called these days) for a quarter century and I've saved oodles of cash - which I've had to spend in the last year on car & lawn tractor replacement, so it's just as well the saved up funds were there.
