I was walking from the homeless shelter today and a large flower stalk had been broken from it's bed, probably a passing bicycler. So it made me wonder, What do you put on the grave of dead flowers?

F.S.
Don W has again put up some items on Ebay for the homeless guy (me). The latest include a bunch of Ghoul Show items and props. Once you get to www.eBay.com and use the search for 'Ghoul' to see them. As of today, Friday, there only 4 days left on these auctions:

* Froggy - Prop/Set piece from the Ghoul Show - Ron Sweed
This is an original prop by Art Director Dave Ivey that was used on the show. FROGGY made regular appearances on the show, was often abused, only to return for more!
The Ghoul was a horror movie host who had a cult following in the Cleveland and Detroit area where his show aired in the 70s and early 80s. With a style all his own, which hasn't been seen since, he carved out his own little niche of crazy on his program. This is a unique piece from the show. If you're a Ghoul fan, here's a great opportunity to get this one of a kind item from the show.
A helpful fan provided the following additional information about this item (guess who):
"This is one of a number of prop Froggies made by Dave Ivey for use on the show. The stunt that this one did was where Froggy and The Ghoul where at the top of a slide to a kiddie pool. Froggy eggs on The Ghoul to the point where Froggy gets pushed down the slide to land in the pool, full of Jello. ~"Get me outta here you sickie Ghoul! Right now!" "You want out now do you Froggy" "Yes, get me out now" The Ghoul produces a Boom Boom and puts it under Froggy and lights the fuse. Boom Boom Boom! Again Froggy complains.
Dave Ivey rebuilt him and made him all better." Not many of the prop Froggies survived enough to be rebuilt.

* Boom Boom Betty! - Prop/Set piece from the Ghoul Show
This is an original prop that was used on the show. Be advised that the fuse in the "bomb" is live and will not be included (mail regulations)!
I understand from talking to Dave Ivey, designer and builder of Boom Boom Betty that she survived by not getting the Ghoul Show Boom Boom Boom! She was made near the end of the Detroit TV run.

* Bring Back the Ghoul art - pen/ink and watercolor
This is an original pen and ink with watercolor piece done by Dave Ivey.
It is 8 1/2" x 11". It is matted, though the mat has begun to bend a bit and probably should be replaced. The paper has also yellowed significantly, but the colors of the piece itself are still good.

* The Ghoul Scrapbook by Mike Olszewski and Ron Sweed (1998, Paperback)
This book "catalogues the genesis of this perverted performer, the essence of his character, and the zany, zingy-zingy kingdom that he rules thanks to the miracle of television." If you're a Ghoul fan and don't have this, now's your chance.

* The Ghoul - 3 DVDs - Autographed - Blood Freak,Ghoul Power 35 and more!
GHOUL POWER 35 - This one is signed - check out the photo!
Blood Freak - Detroit Thanksgiving/Christmas Special 2001
The Ghoul's vault of Golden Garbage Plus!
Here's your chance to watch the Ghoul over and over whenever you want.
With a style all his own, which hasn't been seen since, The Ghoul carved out his own little niche of crazy on his program. These dvds capture a little bit of that crazy for your enjoyment.

Bid high and bid often to keep these treasures and help me pay the rent on my storage cube. At least take a look. Thank you.
